The scientists in charge of timing on earth use the cesium atomic clock to tell us that the rotation speed of the earth will suddenly accelerate. A day is less than 24 hours, or even shorter.
When the earth was first born 4.5 billion years ago, it took only six hours to rotate. Later, as the gravity of the moon continued to slow down the earth’s rotation speed, the time of the day began to become longer and longer, from six hours to eight hours to ten hours, until today’s 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4 seconds.
